DropMe Terms and Conditions

Introduction Welcome to DropMe! By accessing and using the DropMe application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

·         "DropMe" refers to the DropMe ride-sharing application and its services.

·         "User" refers to both riders and drivers who use the DropMe application.

·         "Rider" refers to users requesting transportation services.

·         "Driver" refers to users providing transportation services.

2. Use of the Service

·         Users must register and create an account to use the DropMe application.

·         All users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

·         Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information.

3. Rider Terms

·         Riders can request rides through the DropMe application.

·         If a rider spends more than 5 minutes waiting for the driver, they will be charged a waiting fee of 3.5 CAD.

·         If a rider cancels the ride after the driver has arrived for pick-up, they will be charged a cancellation fee of 5 CAD.

·         As DropMe accepts bidding offers, it may take longer to secure a ride.

4. Driver Terms

·         Drivers must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

·         Drivers must comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including vehicle safety and licensing requirements.

·         Drivers must ensure their vehicle is in good condition and meets DropMe's safety standards.

·         Drivers will receive 72% of the ride fare if working as employees and 85% if working as independent contractors.

·         Drivers must follow city laws and DropMe's safety regulations. Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination.

5. Payment Terms

·         Payment for rides will be processed through the DropMe application.

·         DropMe will disburse payments to drivers on a weekly basis, every Friday.

·         In case of any payment inquiries or emergencies, drivers can contact financial support at financial@dropme.ai.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

·         Riders may cancel their ride requests at any time. However, if the cancellation occurs after the driver has arrived, a 5 CAD cancellation fee will apply.

·         Refunds will be processed according to DropMe's refund policy, available on our website and within the application.

7. Privacy Policy

DropMe is committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Limitation of Liability

·         DropMe is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

·         DropMe does not guarantee the availability, quality, or reliability of rides.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

DropMe reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or within the application.
